In a harsh social media post, Ram Gopal Varma criticized the movie for exaggerating its budget and box office receipts. Game Changer had an overall occupancy rate of 36.15 percent, and in Hindi, it had an overall occupancy rate of 11.19 percent. Kakinada had the greatest occupancy rate in the Telugu-speaking belt (78.25 percent) with 37 shows, followed by Mahbubnagar (77.50 percent) with only 4 shows.
Chennai has the highest occupancy rate (83 percent) with 8 shows in the Hindi version, followed by Bengaluru (33 percent) with 14 shows. Game Changer had a 6.50 percent occupancy rate with 646 shows in Delhi-NCR and an 11.75 percent occupancy rate with 364 shows in Mumbai.

According to reports, Game Changer was produced on a Rs 450 crore budget, and it appears unlikely that it will make a profit. S. J. Suryah, Nassar, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma play important parts in Game Changer, which is produced by Dil Raju under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
