Sunil Pal Case: The Meerut district police have offered five fugitive suspects in the suspected kidnapping of comedian Sunil Pal a reward of Rs 25,000 to Rs 25,000. Lavi, alias Sushant, alias Himanshu; Akash, alias Gola, alias Dipendra; Shiva; Ankit, alias Pahadi; and Shubham are the absconding suspects, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada informed PTI.

Up police action: A reward of Rs 25,000 to Rs 25,000 has been issued for the five individuals who have been deemed absconding in the Sunil Pal kidnapping case. According to the police, a search is being conducted to find the suspect. Arjun has been taken into custody by the police in relation to the case. According to Tada, Sunil Pal was abducted after he was allegedly called false pretences to perform at a function on December 2.

According to him, the abductors held them as hostages for almost twenty-four hours before releasing them in exchange for an Rs. 8 lakh ransom. The SSP alleges that once Sunil’s wife Sarita filed a formal complaint in Mumbai, it was forwarded to the Lal Kurti police station in Meerut, where the local police began looking into the allegations. Pal praised the police, state government, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media earlier this week for their prompt response to the situation.

Sunil’s wife FIR: He was allegedly kidnapped on December 2 after being invited to perform at a function. Only after demanding ₹8 lakh in ransom did the kidnappers free him after holding him captive for about 24 hours. Following this, Sarita, Sunil’s wife, filed a zero FIR in Mumbai. The local police then moved the case to the Lal Kurti police station in Meerut, where they began looking into the allegations.
After Sunil, Mushtaq Khan kidnapped
Mushtaq khan kidnapped: Following Sunil Pal, Bollywood star Mushtaq Khan was also abducted and held captive in the Bijnor area of Uttar Pradesh. Reports state that the senior artist was tortured for 12 hours after being kidnapped off the Delhi-Meerut expressway. Police said that under the guise of inviting renowned actor Shakti Kapoor to an event, the criminals were planning to kidnap him.
Regarding his professional background, Sunil Pal has started Bollywood productions, including Bombay to Goa, Apna Sapna Money Money, and Phir Hera Pheri.
